There have existed for a while, replacement components for the DMG in different parts. Plastic shells, Buttons, Springs and screws.
Cases
Kitsch-Bent released his replacement shells in the summer of 2012 and can be noted by their square shape, allowing for extra space inside the case around the speaker point. In this amount of time he has created variations of white,, black, clear blue and green and has gone on to feature laser moulding designs on the outside as well as custom battery replacements.
ASM Retro has his own line that look like replacement cases, but have no brand logo. The Start and Select text is visible.
