Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
The NES, released in 1985, is an 8-bit console that is used to play games and write music using trackers. A few mods for the NES include the region lockout mod, the stereo mod, and while not a mod, but almost always necessary, is replacing the 72 pin cartridge connector.
